We believe that through higher education, the quality of life of women and girls are improved and positively changed.

GWF also has its own Scholarship Fund that supports girls who come from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds who are studying in non-traditional disciplines.

The GWF Scholarship Fund

Since 2004, the GWF Scholarship Fund has supported young Fijian women who dare to study in fields where women are rarely seen. We believe that if women are to lead and contribute fully to Fiji’s future, they need to be supported — especially in disciplines where female participation is historically low.
The Fund targets women from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds enrolled at FNU, USP, and other recognised institutions.

Fields we have supported
✅ Civil Engineering
✅ Aeronautics
✅ Automotive Engineering
✅ Plumbing & Sheet Metal
